Couch to 5K: Beginner Runners Share Their Experience

How do you even start running? It seems to daunting!

This week’s episode follows three runners on their Couch to 5K journey. The Couch to 5K is

a running plan that builds up gradually from zero to running 30 minutes or a 5K at the end of

nine weeks. There are a couple of different options for the App. The most popular in the U.K.

is the NHS Couch to 5K Nine Week Programme which takes you from a sixty second run to

a thirty minute run by the end of the programme.

We talk about what level of fitness you need to start the program....spoiler alert - NONE! What the hardest and best parts of following the plan was, why they wanted to start running and whether they have plans to continue past 5k!

This episode is sponsored by Runner's Need - using the code 'therunnerbeans' will get you 15% off online (and in-store when they reopen!) until the end of July!
